I was examining the activity of other wikis about RuneScape players and noticed they were all inactive. There were no active editors at any of the wikis, and a lot of the vandalism on the wikis remained for months or years before being reverted or removed. Considering the articles on these wikis are about people, and vandalism to these articles can have a psychological impact on players (more so if the vandalism remains in these articles), it is imperative this issue be dealt with. I feel the best way to deal with this problem is just to merge these wikis with this wiki, which has active editors patrolling the recent changes and getting rid of vandalism in a timely manner.
The related wikis I propose be merged with this one are:
I thought it would be pretty obvious, given that those 4 wikis have few pages and little information. I assume that after those wikis are removed the original URLs would be redirected to respective pages on this wiki? --Atheist723 (talk)
No Support - Deletion of those wikis may be better than a merger. I also assume that duplicate articles (like Zezima) would be deleted in the event of a merger with priority given to this current wiki (rsplayers). Is that the case? Jebrim (talk) 23:19, September 16, 2013 (UTC)
- Why would deleting the wikis be better than a merger? Also, yes, provided that the quality of the article here was better than the quality on the other wikis. Smithing (talk | contribs) 23:55, September 20, 2013 (UTC)
