Hey everyone,
I am the author of The History of RuneScape PDF, for which I have interviewed many people who have played RS1. It has come to my attention there is an article about the user "RS Jesus", in which it is claimed that he was the first to 123 Combat in RS1. That person has also been editing other user pages (Gearshifter, for example) accordingly.
However, that information is definitely incorrect, yet the person keeps editing the user pages. I have spoken with many RS1 players and not one of them mentioned RS Jesus or even knew who he was. The first player to 123 Combat has always been considered to be Gearshifter. Furthermore, external sources which I have visited during the creation of the PDF agreed that were either 3 or 4 players who maxed Combat in RS1, these being Gearshifter, Lilyuffie88, S A X and some sources mentioned Arc Druid too, yet not one of them mentioned RS Jesus.
It appears to me that the RS Jesus article is either a hoax or an attempt by someone to acquire a level of fame that they are not entitled to, at the expense of the acknowledgment that Gearshifter is supposed to receive instead. Not surprisingly, the RS Jesus article has not a single reference and yet it is claimed in the article that there is proof.
I have verified in-game with other former RS1 players, and they agree that RS Jesus's statements can in no way be correct. The problem here is that a user keeps editing the user pages to make it seem as if RS Jesus was indeed the first person.
Based on my research for the PDF, Gearshifter should be acklnowledged as the first and one of the four players who achieved 123 Combat in RS1 and RS JEsus's article should be removed as it is a hoax/fake.

Hey there, I did not use external sources for the 123 Combat fact as I accepted the testimonies of the former RS1 players that I interviewed for the PDF. However, I found the following after a quick 10-minutes search. Keep in mind that this is on top of the testimonies, which all claimed that Gearshifter was the first person to achieve level 123. Also notice how there is no mention of a RS Jesus.
